F1 Start Reaction Test
Five red lights step on one by one, then go randomly dark all at once. Your time is measured from lights out to your click — just like a standing start challenge (unofficial fan practice; not affiliated with Formula 1).

How this differs from “green light” tests
Here the cue is lights going off after a visible build-up. Your brain must suppress the urge to guess the moment; anticipation usually shows up as false starts.
Real championship starts use homologated hardware and procedures. This page is a browser simulation for practice and fun only.
Racecraft tips
- Watch the last red pair — do not fixate on counting to five.
- Breathe out during the hold on five; snap the input on extinction, not “soon”.
- Compare sessions on one device; phones and monitors have different lag profiles.
